Variety- plural varieties
1)a variety of something
a lot of things of the same type that are different from each other in some way: The girls come from a variety of different backgrounds.Cafe Artista offers a wide variety of sandwiches.
2) [uncountable] the differences within a group, set of actions etc that make it interesting: I really like the variety the store has to offer.
daudzpusīgs īp.-
1)Tāds, kas aptver dažādas nozares, dažādus aspektus; plašs un bagātīgs. Daudzpusīga darbība, izglītī-ba. Daudzpusīgas zināšanas, intereses.
2) Tāds (cilvēks), kam ir plašas un daudzveidīgas intereses. Interesanta un daudzpusīga personība.

Vocabulary- plural vocabularies
1) [uncountable and countable] all the words that someone knows or uses Reading is one of the best ways of improving your vocabulary.
He has a wide vocabulary.
active vocabulary (=the words someone can use)
passive vocabulary (=the words someone can understand, but does not use)
2) [countable] all the words in a particular language: English has the largest vocabulary of any langu-age.

1)Vārdu kopums (valodā, kādā tās formā, piemēram, izloksnē); vārdu kopums, kas raksturīgs kādai sociālai grupai, atsevišķam indivīdam, arī kādam tekstam.

Vowel- [countable]
1)one of the human speech sounds that you make by letting your breath flow out without closing any part of your mouth or throat
2) a letter of the alphabet used to represent a vowel. In English the vowels are a, e, i, o, u, and someti-mes y.

Version-

Tautas dziesmas versija folkl. — tautas dziesma, variants, kas no pamatdziesmas atšķiras ar būtisku satura niansi vai arī ar valodisko vai poētisko formu.
