The differences between CRIMINAL LAWs of this two country are very sharp. For example, in our country the person which commit a crime, must be at least 14 (fourteen) years old in order to charge this person with a crime. But in Severe responsibility for a crime must be at least 12 (twelve) years old person.
Severes criminal law provides harshest sentences then our criminal law.
For example, petty theft or slandering which in our country are small criminal offences, in Sever are serious crimes.
Interesting is the fact, that in Severs criminal law not existing a suspended sentence.
The famous punishments in Severe are corporal punishment and a prison sentence, but in our country most criminals pay a fine.
Corporal punishment is very heartless form of punishments, that’s why it does not exist in Latvia.…
