The theme that I have chosen for my presentation is very actual, especially for students. Goals of my course report are to find and provide useful information for myself and others.
I think the best thing to do before looking for ways to avoid plagiarism, is to define what plagiarism is.
Plagiarism is copying, claiming that the course report that you have done is yours although you know that it is written by somebody else. It is not only about copying, by copying you do so many other things: cheating, lying to your lecturers, professors and being unfair to your group mates who work really hard to get their works done perfectly. You can't borrow an idea, you can't borrow someone’s opinion on something because it is nothing else but copying. Not noting the source or not using quotation marks is plagiarism- disrespectful thing to do to others and to yourself.
So, the main conclusion about plagiarism- it is not a good thing to do. …
