Rules for the Game of Life

In organizing my desk I came across these rules. They were written by my friend, Allan Cobb in 1986. I thought you might enjoy them.
Cobb's Rules for Playing the Game of Life:
1. Thou shalt play the game.
2. Thou shalt not necessarily be told the rules.
3. To enjoy is optional.
4. You have been given everything you need.
