Advanced Micro Devices - a Leader in the Industry

Almost everyone these days owns, or at least has used a computer before. Computers have become very important in everyday life, not only for business and scholastic reasons, but also for social reasons. Since September eleventh of 2001 the technology industry has suffered greatly. AMD is one of the only companies that has continued to grow and be successful even through the difficult challenge of living through such a tragedy. Over the past thirty-three years AMD, or Advanced Micro Devices, has definitely made itself known as a major leader in the worldwide technology industry. It is evident after studying about the company, its competition, its accomplishments, its stock activity and its challenges that though AMD is second only to Intel, AMD will continue to flourish and surpass its competitors in the future.
First of all, the AMD name is more than just a word. AMD is an acronym for Advanced Micro Devices.
