The temple of Apollo
The temple of Apollo at Delphi (Greece), first built around the 7th-century BC, stands on a hillside and was surrounded by statues of mythical Greek heroes.
The temple was home to the famous Oracle, in which the god himself counseled his people through the mouth of his priestess-Pythia.

The temple of Athena
The first Temple of Athena was built here in the 7th century BC and rebuilt at the beginning of the 5th century BC.
Located about a mile east of the famous Temple of Apollo the Sanctuary of Athena at Delphi contains the mysterious Tholos.
The Tholos at Delphi is a circular building located approximately 800 metres from the main site.
