Other changes, which I feel, are desirable emergence of nuclear family less burden on the countries economy, change in woman's role career oriented instead of child-bearing machines, emphasis on education for children etc. these in my opinion are only and only desirable.
Conclusion.
To summarize we can say condition of women has improved drastically though we still need to go a long way in curbing social evils like dowry, polygamy etc. which still exists in rural India. On the other hand industrialization and urbanization have profoundly affected not only the macro-society but also its family and kinship structures as well. These processes have indeed contributed to economic development and an improved quality of life. It has been positive change towards a more modern family with emphasis on quality of life, keeping in minds its roots and social values.
