Execution methods have varied throughout history; this is partially due to the fact that society is looking for more 'humane' ways of killing people. This is surprising considering that they are willing to murder them in the first place. There are many questions that need to be answered and one that people keep on asking is; what is considered as a humane way of executing people? There is no real answer to this for many reasons. One being that many countries have different views as to what they consider inhumane. For example, in Iran stoning is considered to be a good way to execute people but for more civilized societies, stoning would be out of the question. Also many people have different opinions on what is considered humane and inhumane. Many people say that hanging is a civilized way of executing someone because they have a possible quick but much of society say that lethal injection is also civilized. Yes, it's true that lethal injection is civilized and is now accepted by 38 states as a form of capital punishment. Lethal injection is much more civilized than say beheading, but there are accounts of botched executions. …
