‘Europa, Europa’ is a film directed by a Polish film director Agnieszka Holland. It is a unique story about a Jewish boy Solomon Perel, who manages to pull through the World War II in many unbelievable ways.
Solomon and his family – both parents, two brothers and sister lives in Nazi Germany. Since they are Jewish, they have to face with different assaults. On the eve of Solomon’s Bar Mitzvah the family suffers in an onslaught by Nazis and his sister Bertha is killed. After that the family tries to escape from it and moves to Poland. They thought that there will be safer, but it is just for a moment because soon the World War II started and Germany invaded Poland. Solomon’s parents decided that he and his brother Isaac cannot stay longer with them and they send them to escape from capture and look for a safer place. …
