Female entrepreneurship has been a topic for passionate discussions in recent years. Numerous researchers have put their effort to find the most important determinants that directly affect activity of female entrepreneurship. The decision to start individual business relies on such fundamental issues as inner motives and outer factors. Although most of them suit for both genders, the paper shows exactly what specific characteristics differentiate feminine from masculine in the case of making decisions related with individual business start-ups. What is more, it is considered whether this choice is based on necessity when facing difficulties in ones life or spotting a promising business opportunity.
The aim of this paper is to get a deeper insight in the topic of female entrepreneurship, find out and present what are the motives encouraging them to start individual business and determinants that distinguishes them from male counterparts.
