Wedding Traditions in Latvia

At the turn of the previous century, there was no question about it - marriage was thought to be the ideal state for every woman, and she spent most of her youth preparing for it. However, there were definite etiquette rules that she followed in those days, some of which have survived. But we have to admit that there is a considerable difference between now and then because nowadays the couple before, after and on their wedding day tend to do a lot of innovative and foreign wedding activities.
