But there is one unethical drawback to this advancement in civilization. It is pollution. Water pollution specifically. The amount of waste and toxins flushed or drained or rinsed down our pipes each day, flows into our Earth's rivers, stream, lakes and eventually our oceans which ultimately cause a problem for our or other species' natural habitats.
In the end, indoor plumbing is definitely a plus and a necessity for society in general. Without it, we as humans, would not be what we are today. We would not have other advancements that we are used to having without indoor plumbing. From the early Romans to the English in the Middle Ages to present day, indoor plumbing was and is a way of life (for most of course), we embrace it everyday, a few times a day and don't even think of the real significance it has to our lives. Indoor plumbing is one of, if not the worlds greatest invention or advancement.
