The Paris Peace Conference: France vs. American 14 Point Peace Plan

I side with America's point of view on the fining of Germany. Besides the political foresight and futuristic peace implications, there is really nothing you can gain from fining a country that heavily (millions of pounds) in the long run. The people will eventually strike out against what's keeping them back and possibly start another war. If
France would follow the peace plan and avoid the heavy taxation of Germany, then it's
possible for France to get a loan from Britain or America, France's military allies and
keep everyone happy in some sense. It's not as if Germany even had the strength to continue that war. There is, again, nothing to gain from beating someone when there down unless you want more trouble in the future. France should have seen that and made
changes accordingly, but they didn't. So I side with Woodrow Wilson and his 14 point peace plan.
