I with my group of researchers was not in the least surprised by the findings. We confirmed what had been suspected for a long time – that medicine, space, a and the origin of the universe are the most important subjects when it comes to attracting young people into science and maintaining their interest.
It seems that a passion for science can be maintained by enthusiastic teachers who can show the relevance of the subjects. Teachers should change their approach to submission of the information for children that to interest them. For the teachers of teaching languages, it can be a getting homework for students, which contains a translation of the music hits of recent years.
