In modern philosophy human being is the centre of universe, because of rational thinking. Rationalism is the onliest source of thinking. It concerning also in political and economic spheres. Modernists believe that state can be only industrialized and capitallist. Utilitarism is another point in modernist thinking. Society (and also state) must ensure maximal goods for largest number of people. In modernist philosorhy, history can be defined as a road to progress. Modernist political philosophy believes that political values can and must be given methaphisical backup. Modernist philosophy believes that it is possible to represent the real- to provide a true and accurate description of the nature of reality. Modernists think that every statement is true if it corresponds to a fact. The political values can only be justified if they are anchored in universal, eternal and absolute foundations.1
Decline of national state and globalization were reasons why modernists failed. Post- modernist thinkers argued that modernist thinking of metaphisical backup for political ideas is unneccesarry and impossible.
