In what Ways Does Gender Shape the Nature of Universities in Australia?

The way men and women are divided in society strongly influences the way Australian Universities are shaped. It is important to consider that information produced by a university can be gendered. Factors such as university staffing and the number of students attending universities are important to consider, as in most cases women are outnumbered by men. Men continue into higher levels of study than women, and male academics are in the majority especially at the higher levels.
