Examples are Sony's PS2 game consoles failed to reach the American market on the day of the launch due to non-availability of micro-chips that were delayed. Another example is that of CISCO, who faced heavy losses due to the fact that the outsourced facility failed to live up to the demands of the CISCO products and hence CISCO were not able to deliver the goods on time, due to which the sales orders resulting in nearly billions of dollars were cancelled and the stocks kept lying in the warehouses without any purchaser. These facts have brought about suspicion on the success of outsourcing of facilities. Another important fact is that SME's are the basis for the future corporatist since they will be able to increase their productivity and scale through gradual growth and experience of the market not only domestic but globally and this will bring about better lifestyle amongst people and will lead to improvement of the economy and society.
Hence, larger and smaller companies should work together in order to bring about the best of efficiencies of both companies and bring about betterment of each other and the society.
