Electricity has become the basic need for day to day life. It's been there around all along but the practical applications to effectively use it was invented.
Alessandro Volta discovered the first practical method of generating electricity.
1831 is marked the year of major breakthrough for electricity. A British scientist Michael Faraday discovered the basic principles of electricity generation.
Street lights were some of the earliest attention gaining equipment. With the rise in electricity usability, now it stands as a backbone of modern industrial society.
With increased mobility, human life has become dependent on electricity.

The airplane – USA, 1903
Orville and Wilbur Wright got involved in aviation in the late 1890s. They realized that the airplane was not one invention but many inventions that all needed to work in concert for the machine to be successful. On December 17, 1903, on the beaches of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, the world’s first airplane lifted off and changed the world forever. The Wright brothers’ first flight lasted only 12 seconds, but their fourth flight lasted 59 seconds and demonstrated that the brothers had created a true airplane.
