What is the Gyrotron Beam?
The first and only microwave radiation generated in the form of a beam. A distinct cut above common microwave (2.45GHz) the Gyrotron Beam has High frequency - between 30 to 110 GHz or wavelength from 10 to 2.7mm (0.4" to 0.1") High power density - up to 15 KW/mm2 (10,000 KW per sq. inch). Ability to take any form - circular with Ø from 3mm (0.12"), strip with length up 2m (6'), square, ellipse, etc. Directional capability - can scan, oscillate, follow a pattern, etc. The Gyrotron Beam's unique properties are unlike any other energy source including plasma, industrial microwave, laser, or electron beam.
The Gyrotron Beam Equipment
The Gyrotron Beam industrial installation consists of the Gyrotron, power supplies, control and monitoring equipment (basic components) and specialised work area. The basic components are available through GTI (from its partner vendors) and are versatile enough for any application. The specialised work area (technological chamber) is custom designed and manufactured for each environment. As a rule, Gyrotron Beam installations can be integrated into existing production lines, with minimal conversion costs and downtime, and can work in tandem with existing equipment. The space requirements for Gyrotron Beam equipment are minimal.
Components that lend them selves to the sintering process
-Bearings - Hardens them to increase life & makes them porous to absorb oil better.
