September 11, 2001
The United States and the world underwent an immense change on September 11, 2001, due to the hideous acts of terrorism committed on the World Trade Centers in New York City, and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. This was an act that no one in my generation has ever seen or experienced, except at a movie theatre on a Friday or Saturday night. To watch the terrors unfold on television was truly terrifying.
