The main theme of this essay is about the interest groups- lobbyists in the European Union’s level. Before the author will pay attention to the present situation in the EU and the practice of lobbying, it is necessary to clarify the meaning of the concepts: Interest group and lobbyism. One version of explaining these concepts are fallowing: interest groups are lobbies, who try to influence the decisions in Brussels that they made by members of parliament. Consequently each of this conception explains another. Lobbies are the persons, who meet politicians, companies, administrative officials in order to discuss important topics and exchange information. From other side lobbies can be an instrument for interest groups to reach settled aims. It is possible to consider that the special interest groups can be divided into non-profit making organization (such as international associations) and profit making organization (such as legal advisers).
