INTRODUCTION
Theme of my paper is about ecological lifestyle, green living, life quality of green living and global actualities, that includes climate changing, carbonate dioxide harm to nature, and possible harms in future. I chose this theme because It is also my conviction that people have to start thinking – have to live at least more eco-friendly than they have lived until now. I am also trying to live eco-friendly, for example, I’m a vegetarian already for 8 years, I use only natural, organic, ecological and biological face and skin care products as Shea butter and black soap, I am always trying to take my cloth shopping bag when I’m going to shop, also I’m trying to save energy, to grow some plants and grow my own herbs/spices and stuff like that.
This paper contains themes: recycling, global warming, green footprint, “Go green”, Eco-friendly lifestyle and research about how informed about eco-lifestyle are Riga Stradins University Public Relations programme students.
In my paper I will try to find out what is eco-living lifestyle, how can people change to make their life’s better in the same time being friendly to environment. I’ll define some determines about living green and give some main information about things that every Earth citizen would have to know. Why I’m saying– Earth citizen? Because Earth is home for everyone that’s living on it, so everyone should take care about our mother Earth as about their own homes.
You hear the word recycling or going green many time trough the years. It is such an important environmental issue and yet, not much is done about this issue. If you ask a random person on the street what they think about recycling, they would say “it’s good for the environment.” Even though there are so many things said about going green or recycling, not much is done. Recycling can help the environment and we the creatures all around the world.
Did you know...
• For every ton of paper that is recycled, the following is saved: 7,000 gallons of water; 380 gallons of oil; and enough electricity to power an average house for six months.
• You can run a TV for six hours on the amount of electricity that is saved by recycling one aluminum can.
• By recycling just one glass bottle, you save enough electricity to power a 100-watt bulb for four hours.
