Joanne Harris "Chocolat"

Single mother Vianne Rocher with her six-year-old daughter Anouk arrives in a tiny French village in the beggining of Lent.
They renovate disused bakery in to a chocolat shop.
The curate Francis Reynaud of the village watches their arrival with disapproval and suspicios.

The conflict betwean curate and Vianne turnes in to a fight for the support of the villagers.
