Almost a year ago like every year I went to the torch procession in my home town Jekabpils. Because of it's memorability I can imagine it as it happened yesterday. The torch procession was organised in the patriotic way so it attracted a lot of spectators too. That day latvian army remained 90. The most powerful part in the event was standing with a torch and sing national anthem.
It was cold, windy autumn evening in 11th November. People left their warm houses to watch and take part in torch procession to take part in Latvian freedom fighters remembrance day - Lacplesis Day. It was the highlight of the evening. The procession started from Kena parks. I and many other young people from the latvian schools waited in a long queue. …
