Professional Identity and Practice Styles

So what is an effective teacher? In my opinion an effective teacher is a scholar who shares knowledge, uses the appropriate methodology, demonstrates and encourages enthusiasm about the subject matter and shows a concern for students, all in such a way as to leave the student with a lasting and vivid conviction of having benefited from the instruction. It is my opinion that whilst imparting your knowledge as a teacher to the various students it is regarded as professional to know your own identity and practice style.
