Motivation Letter

My name is Zane Apiņa, I come from Riga, Latvia, I am currently studying Environmental Science at University of Latvia and I am writing to apply for DAAD offered study scholarship for graduates.
My main purposes for studying in Germany and achieving Master’s degree there are the notable differences in study program content – as I am highly interested in wastewater treatment systems, I find Master’s programs in Germany’s much more appropriate for my chosen research field. In contradistinction to available programs in Latvia, German universities offer a great variety of subjects linked to wastewater treatment, as well as big amount of practical classes, which, in my opinion is the cornerstone of successful career after graduating from university. …
