Harry Potter is series of fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. Potter books along with Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings saga nowadays have became one of the most translated books all over the world. Since the release of the first novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 1997, the books have gained immense popularity, critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. The growing fan base all over the world had always been impatiently waiting for the translation: as fast as possible, as good as possible. So the translators are put on a lot of pressure since the fan base of mister Potter has remarkable number of people.
With that said, any quaint occurrences concerning the translation of Potter books, is nothing exceptional. For instance in France there was a schoolboy who translated the latest of the Potter books a couple of days after it’s release in English.…
