Postmodernism is an architectural movement that started in USA in the 1960s as a reaction against simplicity and pureness of Modernism. Postmodernism was first introduced by the architect Denise Scott Brown and architecture theorist Robert Venturi. Postmodernism was highly popular through the 1980s and 1990s.
