Well, so the Republic of Tajikistan, and about what it has to be written about now; maybe also about some geographical objects of this country, and why not to write about Khorugh Botanical Garden which, of course, is situated in Khorugh town in the Gorno—Badakshan Autonomous Region. So, maybe, as the second highest-elevation Botanical Garden after another Botanical Garden which is situated in Nepal, in the Himalayan Mountains. Well, maybe, this Botanical Garden which is located in Khorugh town in the Republic of Tajikistan has a very large collection of some exotic trees, plants, flowers and so on. You know, it’s very wonderful that this Republic has a big natural Nature Park, and especially a Botanical Garden in south Tajikistan, in Khorugh town. Well, it will be necessary to find dome information about this important place of Khorugh town, and maybe you would have to know about this amazing place more than you just knew before this day. So, the Khorugh Botanical Garden is located in highland area, more specifically, in the South Pamir Mountains,
and its elevation is about two thousand and three hundred twenty metres above sea level (2320 m). Of what especially famous this Botanical Garden is; so, of what trees, plants or flowers? So, there is an answer, the most cultivated trees in this Khorugh Botanical Garden are: many species of different fruit trees and plants, thus, probably, if this is an Asian country, so, one can say, that there are large areas of apples, apricots, peaches, plums, grapes and other kinds of fruit trees. So, these areas are very famous for cultivation of growing of these fruit trees, and, of course, and there’s more. So, maybe in this Botanical Garden also many vegetable plants are cultivated, and, of course, the most cultivated vegetables can be cabbages, potatoes and tomatoes. Well, if you want to know which exactly the national fruit or the national vegetable of Tajikistan is, well, this probably can be plum, apricot, peach, grape or apple, but the most popular vegetable of the Republic of Tajikistan can be the cabbage. You know these vegetables. Well, as you know, for example, the national fruit of Turkmenistan is the Melon, or to say more correctly, the Turkmen Melon, so in the Republic of Tajikistan, of course, it can be apricot, peach or plum. So, looking at some pictures of this Khorugh Botanical garden, one can say that these are, of course, very high-elevated mountainous areas, and many pictures probably can give you some idea that a big number of poplar trees also grows in these areas. So, there also can be such trees as Populus Alba or White poplar, and Populus Canescens or Grey Poplar. Well, probably, those two kinds of poplar trees grow also in Khorugh town. Well, on many pictures of this area you can also find many species or kinds of flowers, but the most part of flora can be attributed especially to trees, and, of course, some fruit trees and vegetable plants; probably there is also a big number or tress, and, of course, they are Poplar trees. So, there are some amazing images of these areas, such as the South Pamir Mountains areas and, of course, a very big number of some trees with red-coloured flowers. Well, these images are amazing, with such high mountains and rivers with so, so fresh and cold water, and how often it is, with many flowers and some trees which are growing in these areas. Well, but you know, how often it is in all Central Asia region, areas near lakes and rivers have very stony coastlines, there are so, so many stones. Well, it was some surprise for me, but looking at all these pictures of the Botanical Garden of Khorugh town there were also some images on which you can see a camel, maybe several camels walking in some areas of this Botanical Garden territory. Well, I don’t know much about that fact that some camel population can be seen or is living in the Republic of Tajikistan, but you can find also this species or kind of animals in this country, not only in some countries where this animal is something like a national symbolic animal, so, the Asian Camel; and, of course, it is the most symbolic animal in Turkmenistan. Well, but writing about the Khorugh Botanical Garden which, of course, is situated in the Republic of Tajikistan, it’s worth to say that this Garden is situated near two rivers of Tajikistan, well, probably, this is not the Panj River which flows through these areas, so, along the border with Afghanistan, but there are also another two rivers, maybe not so big, and they are Gunt and Shahdara rivers. Well, probably, they are these two rivers which flows
through the Khorugh Botanical Garden area, and, of course, images of these places are quite beautiful and amazing than in some other parts of this beautiful country. Well, probably, the Khorugh Botanical Garden has also other name, and it is called as the Pamir Botanical Garden. Well, of course, these southern areas of the Republic of Tajikistan are the most beautiful and picturesque.
