Just from early morning I read some information about the literacy rate in the Republic of Tajikistan, and there was some information that literacy rate in this Central Asian republic is quite high, and one can say that this country, if you look, for example, at other countries in Asian continent, then Tajikistan has a very good levels of education and literacy. Well, if you look at 2012, then, according to information, the literacy rate is about 99.7 % of population. So, that means that everybody in this Central Asian Republic can read and write, and that means, of course, that some education levels may be rather high, maybe large number of population of the Republic of Tajikistan has the secondary education. It is quite hard to understand, if you want to see what is educational process or how educated the population is in this republic in some isolated highland places, maybe, for example, in some eastern parts of the Republic of Tajikistan, in some rural places in the East Pamir mountains areas near the Chinese borders. Maybe some villages which are located very far from the most important populated places in Tajikistan, maybe these villages of small inhabited settlements have also some schools or maybe even public educational establishments of higher level. But if you look at the map, the map of the Central Asia region, then you can understand that all these republics have rather high education level, and of course, the literacy rate, too; which is, of course, about 98 – 99 %, so, it may seem as something unbelievable for the Asian region, but try to think about two countries, such as Tajikistan and Afghanistan……
