The book “Viens vienigs elpas vilciens” (author is Skaidrite Gailite) is a story about tragic destiny of one family. All actions take place in Latvia and a story begins with start of 20th century and goes through almost hundred years. Novel starts with purchase of land which is a central place where are happening all developments. Purvsalas house is a land for dreams and a future. Books characters that had lived there are Mikelis, Anna, Peteris, Alma, Alīda, Milda, Vilma, Valija, Lidija, Leontine, Ilgvars, Ilmars, Janis and Signe. They all are real persons what exists and existed in real life, because the novel has written by authentic facts. These characters touche with heartless destiny, they know what an irony fate looks like.…
