Novel’s author F. Scott Fitzgerald was very talented writer during 1920s, after World war I he wrote his first novel “The Side of Paradise”, which got successful and made him famous. Right after that he married his muse Zelda Sayre and had a daughter. Besides novel writing, Francis Fitzgerald wrote short stories for popular magazines and scripts in Hollywood. In middle twenties author moved to France and wrote “The great Gatsby”, which only after Fitzgerald’s death got the deserved recognition.
