This essay is about popular sports in Latvia, about famous sportsmen and sportswomen and also fans. Most of the males take interest about sports and dreaming about how it would be if I was a sport star. We, the men, think that most of the women don’t interest about any sports. However, they do. Women do all the sports that men do, even boxing and playing ice-hockey. This paper will contain sports like the same ice-hockey, basketball and football.
I will start with a sport whose popularity in Latvia has grown a lot last years since our youngster Andris Biedrins has been drafted for NBA (National Basketball Association) in 2004 when he was drafted at 11th overall position in the first round by NBA club Golden State “Warriors”. Considering the success and progress of this 21 years old basketball player from Latvia, almost all Latvians who interests about this ball game was and still are keeping track of events going on in USA ball courts.…
