Since the early beginnings of mankind, there have been laws. They are verbal or written rules that control certain actions people are either allowed or forbidden to perform. In the ancient times laws were usually created by leaders of people groupings. Laws were created for the safety and well-being of people, and of course to maintain the supreme power of the leaders.
But as time went on, people and society evolved and life became more complicated. So did the law. Throughout history laws have been created newly and modified, to prevent people from doing damage to each other, physical, material or other, to maintain order and provide safety. Unfortunately this noble idea has also been violated, misused and twisted by people who have been corrupted by power or greed, which made laws more complex. Today law is one of the mightiest and most feared weapons. Unfortunately again, its use is not always to serve justice, but to find ways how to gain personal benefit or to bring down opponents, as almost all politicians do nowadays.…
