Each group member brings their own skills and knowledge into the group. The more skills and knowledge available, the easier a certain project or task becomes as work can be assigned on the basis of ability and experience. Groups are great for motivation: they force you to be responsible to others and frequently, then, do more and better work on a project than you might when only responsible to yourself. In group works we can improve leadership skills, self-esteem gains, conflict resolution skills, and role-taking abilities which become part of the leaning process, and betterment of the student. Learning and working in groups involves shared and/or learned values, resources, and ways of doing things. Effective groups learn to succeed by combining these factors.
