The Pronoun and Its Classification

A pronoun can replace a noun or another pronoun. We use pronouns like "he," "which," "none," and "you" to make our sentences less inconvenient and less repetitive.
Pronouns are classified into several types, including the personal pronoun, the demonstrative pronoun, the interrogative pronoun, the indefinite pronoun, the relative pronoun, the reflexive pronoun, and the intensive pronoun.
Personal Pronouns
A personal pronoun refers to a specific person or thing and changes its form to indicate person, number, gender, and case.

Noun and Pronoun Case
The case of a noun or pronoun determines how you can use it in a phrase or sentence. There are three cases in Modern English:
Subject Case
The man travelled to Newfoundland.
He travelled to Newfoundland.
Object Case
The taxi drove the man to the airport.
The taxi drove him to the airport.…
