It was freezing cold winter night in Tallinn when Alice was walking down the lonely street of the quit city. She had a great time at the school party, she was a little bit tired but she enjoyed the atmosphere of the silent streets and made a walk before she went home. Beautiful snowflakes were flying from the dark heaven and lights in houses reminded an old Christmas story.
She was looking on the old houses and was dreaming about wondrous time before Christmas. Suddenly she stopped. A bald, middle aged man dressed in black threw something in a bin. When their eyewinks jumped together, she looked around and made one step back. The man was disappeared. She did not know why, but she went ahead to the bin and looked there – there was a gun! She was really scared and she could not move of the fear. Then she felt that someone has taken roughly her shoulder. Alice looked back and saw another red-haired, middle aged man dressed also in black, but he was wounded and blood came out of his stomach. She felt in danger and started running. She was running all the time until she was at home. Her mother asked: “What happened?” She did not answer. In the next morning she read a newspaper, where she saw that the man was killed there. The police found a shirt with name Sergejs, a herring in his pocket and a pack of cigarettes. Why a herring in pocket?
