The chapter deals with definition of money and its functions. Firstly, reading this chapter, we get information about history of money, how it has changed and progressed over the years. Secondly, all kinds of money are described in this chapter- their advantages and disadvantages. We can learn how to choose the most gainful type of payment in any live situation. Thirdly, chapter deals with two different measures of the money supply and which problems we can find in measurement of money. And finally we can complete some task at the end of the chapter to check out our knowledge.
After reading this chapter, I feel that I have a very clear understanding of all money functions and why it has been invented. I realize that it is important to understand the basic principles of monetary economy and be able to make right choice which kind of money to use for the biggest gain. The style and vocabulary would make this chapter interesting and perspicuous to any reader.
