PREFACE
‘’The Internet is the worldwide, publicly accessible network of interconnected computer networks that transmit data by packet switching using the standard Internet Protocol (IP). It is a "network of networks" that consists of millions of smaller domestic, academic, business, and government networks, which together carry various information and services, such as electronic mail, online chat, file transfer, and the interlinked Web pages and other documents of the World Wide Web.
Contrary to some common usage, the Internet and the World Wide Web are not synonymous: the Internet is a collection of interconnected computer networks, linked by copper wires, fiber-optic cables, wireless connections, etc.; the Web is a collection of interconnected documents and other resources, linked by hyperlinks and URLs. The World Wide Web is accessible via the Internet, as are many other services including e-mail, file sharing, and others described below.’’
I wasn’t interested on that kind of articles in the past. I understand why now – I didn’t know many of IT words so I couldn’t understand an article almost at all. And then one day I was talking about my computer with one person who asked me does the problem is in software or hardware. I didn’t know what does it mean and I thought – oh my God! I have chosen to take an examination in an informatics but I don’t understand such an easy terminus.
Afterwards when I was thinking about report in informatics, I got an idea – terms for beginners. So I could learn basic theory what would be very good for preparing to exam and for my knowledge either; make a report in Informatics; it could be successful reason for someone else, if that person wants to start using computer and don’t understand anything of it.
Usually when you take computers term dictionary, there are too many terms for beginner but there are only most necessary terms.
It is not possible to learn using computer’s programs after reading this report but is important to start with comprehending how does it works first. I am sure that after reading that an article in top side, some persons who have been using computers before couldn’t spot all of the words. So I think that it would be suitable for almost anyone to read that report. Sometimes you think that you know but afterwards you realize that you have forgotten or you don’t know particularly. It is always important to repeat all the time otherwise it is easy to leave out of consideration.
Report is made like a small alphabetic dictionary, which you can read all through or just find terms you need. There are also two tabs for better realizing about IT units and codes. I have used mostly Internet web pages for getting information because there it is enough and as I used quite objective pages.
