To begin with, there were many ideas at first, starting from making buttons with SSE Riga logo, making food and selling it during lunch breaks to making tournaments of various table games. Therefore, we had to make criterions how to choose the right one idea. Firstly, we wanted our project to be as profitable as possible and together concentrate on affordable loss. Moreover, we did not want to take the idea, which was used in such projects before. Thirdly, we had very limited time to develop the idea and make profit from it. Finally, we did not have much resource, so it should not have been very expensive.
Considered everything, we all together decided that the best idea is offering to smoke water-pipes in the school yard and during the annual SSE Riga event Summer Symposium. Although this thought wasn’t in unison with Maslow pyramid (Appendix 3) of most needed and required thing, we thought it is a quite new idea and it should be very profitable, as there are many smokers in the yard during the breaks between lectures.
