In the Rivers of the Savanna

  Hippo can live about 40 years, but in captivity, zoo - more than 50 years. Among hippos as well as among men, there are long-lived: the science known a case where a female hippo lived as much as 60 years.  

 Hippos need water in which they spend most of the day, so the animals settle where there is fresh water reservoir.

Hippos are very aggressive animals, as evidenced by the constant fights between males.
