Few years later in 1884 Thomas Parker build first electrical car in world
In 1897, electric vehicles found their first commercial application as a fleet of electrical New York city taxis.

Electric car lose it`s position
There were a couple of factors that led electric automobile industry to disappear
Fuel became very popular because its high price dropped
Electric cars were slow and low range.
Electric cars were more expensive than gasoline cars.
