There are many words in the American language that make you think of specific images or thoughts. What one person thinks of when they hear a word may be completely different from what another person thinks of when hearing the same word. Depression is the one word that makes me think of many different definitions. There are many ways that depression can be defined and a few of them are a state of mind, a time when the economy was low, a dent or shallow place, and a type of surgery done on the eyes.
