Because of stress most of the animals at zoos, aquariums and circuses have mental issues or brain disfunction called Stereotypical Behaviors. When animals cannot do what they normally do at wild, like hunt, run, meet other animals, even sleep and properly nurse their children, it is creating stress what reflects at their behavior. No wildlife animal ever will be, literally, running circles or walking same line back and forth for hours and it is happening only because of stress they have. It is not that kind of stress like something is missing, but it is stress because they do not know the purpose of their lives anymore.
