Before speaking about wickedness and take for granted the wise thought expressed by John Milton, it should be clarified what wickedness is, and what the reasons for it are. According to the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, ‘wicked’ is the term applied when speaking about people or their actions, and means “morally bad, evil”, or as well as “intended to harm or capable of harming somebody”. There can be several examples of wickedness; envy could be seen as one of those.
