5. Conclusion
5.1 Macro-environment
The macro-environment factor contains six factors and all of them have had an impact on higher education. The organisation's proximate macro-environment was then examined under supplier, distributive and competitive environment and finally the wider macro-environment was examined under the headings: political/legal environment, demographic environment, economic environment, technological environment, natural environment and culture/social environment.
In conclusion, firstly, the tendency of political/law environment will increase in the coming years, GST as the one typical example for Australian political policy. Secondly, in general, the population is growing gradually now, but the school age is decreasing now. Therefore, for higher education, demographic tendency declined. Next, the economy developed very fast these years, therefore, the income has been increased, from this result, more people will consider to achieve higher academic education. Subsequently, technological environment and culture environment's tendency is rising as well. More and more people begin to use new technologies and the social level has been increased as a whole. However, our natural resource is decreasing dramatically.
