World War Two was a bad war mainly because of the atom bomb. My reasoning is that the a-bomb killed thousands of innocent civilians, it lead us into another war with Russia, and, not the fault of the atom bomb, Japanese American?s lives were taken away through internment .The decision to use the A Bomb was made by President Truman, not FDR. Roosevelt died before the decision was made. Dropping an A Bomb, with the benefit of victory, seems an evil thing. But to decide whether it was or was not a correct decision the individual have to put him/herself in the shoes of the people who had to make the decision. After the battles on Iwo Jima and other islands, it seemed that the Japanese would fight, in a lost cause, to the very last man; therefore, the Atom Bomb was dropped, killing thousands of civilians. …
