Most common means of transport
In Riga people usually travel to work by public transport. The results of Ministry of Transport and Communications surveys show that 55% of city dwellers use different means of public transport. Most of them go by buses, by trolleybuses or by trams. Also a very popular means of transport is a van. Of course, there are lots of inhabitants who own private cars.
