Conclusion.
I argue that Real Estate Company is a gendered organization, which each position has its gender preference. It follow the pattern of gendered organizations are the total pattern of gender relations- token stereotypical expectations, interpersonal relationship, and men's and women's different placements in social, economic, and political hierarchies. Most importantly, the exploitation is hidden the surface, which workers must accept to survive in the social reality. Many women of color felt singled out, overworked and isolated, pressures of not only having to work twice as hard to dispel negative racial and/or ethnic stereotypes, and tokenism. For future research, I suggest social scientists to look more deeply into the political hierarchies, and inter-relationship between men and women. I also believe the organization has to have a willingness to change and to implement change, based on input from women of color. Start with a firm multi-level commitment to diversity. Facilitate the participation of women of color to help your organization develop a strong diversity statement. Promote a sense of ownership by women of color in the organization by facilitating meaningful participation opportunities at all levels.
