My book review is about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle work “His Last Bow”. I think that almost everybody of us have heard of genius of investigation- Sherlock Holms. I have heard something abut him since I was child but so far I didn’t had a change to read one of detective stories about him. And so this was my change- I red Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wonderful book “His Last Bow” This book contains 8 short stories about a legendary private detective Sherlock Holms. There is no connection between these stories. Altogether author have wrote 52 story’s about Sherlock Holms. But we need something to start from, so I think 8 stories from 52 is good score and I will try to reed another ones too. I will be honest, this book was not very easy to reed. At the beginning I thought that if there is 8 different stories then it would be very easy to understand because they are separate but I was wrong. These stories all is detective stories so it demand a lot of concentration for reading and good understanding. So I needed to focus my mind quite hard to understand all the detailed details and clues. And vocabulary was hard too. So I can say that there was a lot of words that I couldn’t understand but if I would use a dictionary then there would be no fun of reading this book. …
